Very Good

I loved how beautiful this hotel was. They have amazing internal gardens and the place felt magical. The room was just like the photos and was quite clean. The staff was very nice and accommodating. We had breakfast at the hotel's restaurant and were happy with the quality and prices of the food.

The water in the room was not very hot, it was slightly warm at best. However, I could disregard it as there were a lot more positive things to take into account.

Wonderful

Rooms were very clean. The pool was kept clean all the time despite the big trees all around it.

Old air conditioners, it was cool enough but could do a little upgrade.

Nice place to stay

The garden of the hotel is very beautiful. Good beds. Good location. Free parking. Nice pool. Great price/quality

Restaurant was closed in the evening. All restaurants in town were closed. Had we known, we would’ve eaten at 5pm when the restaurant was open.

Wonderful

The garden was absolutely beautiful! Staff were welcoming and friendly. The room and the grounds were very clean. Nice restaurant on site.

Window didn’t have a screen, so opening the window meant letting the mosquitos in.

Overall a very nice hotel with a very good quality-price ratio. I would definitely go there again.

They have a beautiful inner patio with a lot of different plants. We loved the atmosphere created by them. The rooms were nicely decorated. The personnel in the hotel was very attentive. The hotel was within walking distance from the city center.

One of the rooms assigned to our group had white light. In my very personal opinion, this kind of light is terrible for a relaxing atmosphere, as expected in a hotel. Given the type of construction and materials used for the windows. Some of the noises from the shared hotel areas can be heard in the room. This might be annoying for some light sleepers.

Beautiful garden setting with nice rooms in city center.

Beautiful garden setting with a nice pool and small bar with snacks. Rooms are a nice size with comfortable beds, and a large bathroom.

Some rooms suffered from a bad smell from the nearby river. We were originally in room 205 where the bad smell was strong When we raised this with the staff they immediately moved us to room 210 which was very nice.

We enjoyed our stay —our first night in Mexico.

The rooms are arranged around a wonderful garden courtyard which also includes a swimming pool. As well,the restaurant is situated on an upper level terrace which overlooks the garden. These are the best and most memorable features of the hotel.

The room seemed a little bare and the washroom was ok but could have been nicer.

Lovely place to stay & relax by the pool

Lovely hotel with wonderful garden and swimming pool, quiet and traditional architecture that was lovely. Easy access to the main square and walk to the river area.

The creek at the back of the property is highly polluted and smelly so that was off putting. Otherwise the property is excellent.

Good spot to explore Chiapa de Corzo

Hotel courtyard garden was lovely. The staff were helpful and despite our lack of Spanish always did their best to help us . We’d read reviews which said breakfast was a buffet and pretty poor. We stayed in December and breakfast was a la carte and it was fabulous!

No complaints, simple hotel in a small town- good access to Sumidoro Canyon - you can walk to both boat piers from here.

Good jungle accomodations

Beautiful jungle hotel, lush with plants, a nice pool, and a pretty good restaurant not too overly priced. Nice access to an affordable tour of Cañón del Sumidero that picks you up and drops you off at the hotel. There are not a ton of options in terms of food in the town, so having the restaurant there was ideal, though it does close at 3. The weekend brunch buffet was a pretty good deal all in all. The town center has some decent street food options.

Internet could be faster. Working it was better to just use my cell service as a hotspot on my phone.

It’s a nice place but I’d probably look elsewhere next time

Decent location . Close to the centro. A lot of plants and nice restaurant

No hot water . A lot of little mosquitos in the room. The pool is always dirty with leaves and cold

The hotel, it was excellent staff was fine. The only thing that it lacked was hot water and that’s a big deal but despite that I would still go back.

Basic hotel with tropical gardens

Set in luch gardens this colonial architecture inspired building is probably your best option in Chiapa.

Rooms were pretty basic and spartan. During our stay we had pretty loud people staying over which made it a noisy experience (in the middle of night). Swimming pool could be cleaner

Very nice accommodation in Chiapa de Curzo.

Nice pool. Tropical jungle like central area. Arranged Sumidero Canyon tour and taxi ride to San Cristobal.

Our room was next to the restaurant. We were told that the restaurant would close in the early afternoon but it stayed open both nights we were there. It got pretty noisy although the noise did stop fairly early. This was not a major issue.
